So generally we've had FANTASTIC experiences with Yahoo... the last 36 hrs, though, and AmbientVector.com hasn't had working email (or anything else) because of a DNS issue on Yahoo's side. We've now spent over an hour on the phone with them, and the most recent support call yielded an attitude-filled support rep who suggested "if you know what the problem is, you should just fix it yourself."
Sure... because we can all log in to Yahoo's root DNS servers and make stuff work for us. Yeah. That's it.
Refused to escalate the issue because "A new ticket was opened last night, and there's no reason for us to escalate this." (Yeah, because DNS should take forever to just work!)
And then (and I love this part) when I asked her name, said "Sally"... which was very much NOT the name she gave when she answered the call.
Now there's support for you.
From all the other interactions (all positive) with Yahoo, I really expected better than a full-of-attitude, lying, abrasive, fix-it-yourself but I-know-not-of-what-I-speak customer service rep... but I guess everyone's got a few bad apples.
That said, I've got at least one suggestion when it comes to Yahoo's recent talks of letting some staff go ;-)

Oh, and in the meantime
Since our AmbientVector.com stuff isn't working until Yahoo sorts out
our DNS issues, feel free to send email to

Cool video from Nike Run to 300 podcast with an awesome parkour lesson at the University of Washington.
Posted straight from my phone with Nakama.
